Quality is paramount!
BikeKit started the
manufacturing of bike delivery boxes in 2018. As we progressed, we realized
that the manufacturing of this product is dominated by small workshops who make
the boxes on an ad-hoc basis as and when they receive orders. The quality is
often compromised with no assurance of after-sales service support. Even though
there are many quality bike delivery box manufacturers based in China, however,
the limitation of fulfilling their high ‘Minimum Order Quantities’ coupled with
huge delivery lead times makes the buying decision tough for a potential
customer. We were trying to assess all these pain areas and decided to invest
significantly in Research and Development, with an objective to come up with a
solution that can alleviate as many issues as possible. After 10 months of hard
work, BikeKit has launched the world’s first LED Backlight delivery boxes in Dubai which we believe are a game-changer. How?
- Quality:
During the manufacturing process, we have ensured that each component used
in this product is a world-class product so that when put together, we can
produce an exceptional quality of the delivery box.
- LED Panel:
One of the major advantages of using LED Delivery boxes is that it is an easy way for marketing. You can easily market your brand and ongoing offers easily as the bike moves on the road. The market has largely been using LED strip or rope light to illuminate the boxes. At Bike Kit, we analyzed that the current technique used to illuminate the LED box was not serving the desired objective. Neither the quality was good, nor the illumination was bright. That’s how we decided to bring a game-changer
here. We have now developed a customized high-quality LED Panel, which provides uniform illumination brightness, thus enhancing the brand message on it and at the same time increasing the safety of the rider.
- Environment-friendly: The
old boxes prevailing in the market are made of FRP, also called Fiberglass.
This material is considered very hazardous and quite unfriendly to the environment. We decided to get away from this material totally and as a
result, our box now uses parts that can be recycled. Thus, this is the first step towards making a product which is environment-friendly,
however, we still have a long way to go.
- Lead time: In
today’s world, people want things to be delivered at their doorstep in less span of time. Thus waiting 30-40 days for the LED Boxes to get delivered and setup seems unrealistic perhaps unacceptable also. However,
the product is such that customers have no option until and unless they find a supplier having ready stock of their desired product.
- Has innovated hugely on this area and we are capable of
shipping out 100 boxes in just 5 working days’ time period. We are working on reducing this further! Not only this, the customer has an option to opt for Air or Sea route and in case of air, our new boxes can go as a
semi-knocked down kit which is a huge saving on courier cost! Almost 3
times per box!!
- Warranty:
There are very few parts in this box which has the chances of wear and tear or becoming non-functional. BikeKit’s warranty program gives a 1-year standard warranty on LED Panels and pneumatic door stays (if installed).
We are hopeful that
our efforts to deliver quality products to the customers would bear fruits and
the journey would help us in making it even better.
